Li.ion battery dead as a nit, 0v. Tickled with a 6v charger, low amps and slowly comes back to life. Up to 9v after 5 mins so soon be back in business!

Need pics of the CCM. Intrigued to see how it’s fairing up to use as, IIRC, you don’t mollycoddle it…

Bit the bullet, tank & seat off, battery out and on the bench for a full charge.
Pleasantly surprised at overall condition, front engine plate with slight edge corrosion that's all.
Getting the tank back back on is a pita, needs a gynecologist! Hoping for a good day, watch this space!

Not many folk have a CCM as a winter bike !
Not many, if any, have added MX mudguards either. I bought it because of the bare look of it but alas found it a bit impractical. Weight added by plastic guards negated by trimming the rear hangover framework though.

Well I know it's Xmas Eve but the sun's shining and all preps done so out for a blast over the York's. moors to the Cleveland Hills and home. Roads pretty quiet if a bit greasy. Stopped off for a pint and a pickled egg, festivities off to a good start. Merry Xmas one and all!

There are definitely 2 things the e generation will miss out on, induction roar of a big single as the front wheel paws the air and that sound of over-run as you shut off cresting a hill. Warms me right through, even on the coldest of days.

The sun shone so couldn't resist a blast over the moors and a night at the cabin. Roads quiet so a good run out followed by a sit in the sun with a few beers and steak, egg and chips to cap the day off. Nice ride back as well, despite the cold, roads still quiet!
