Trials!

No, not the ones associated with criminal offence or accompanying tribulations, the stand on the footpegs type. Some years ago I bought a trials bike to help encourage the kids with there's, turned into a great idea for my physical and mental health. Hasn't been used since pre COVID but the kids have started going out on there's again and yesterday suggested I join them. Wheeled mine out today, shook the tank, turned a few times then, started second prod. Contrary to thinking, stale petrol, ran great. Only prob being the clutch has stuck, well stuck. Still a set of new plates and oil should do the trick. Here's to the weekend!

Well, worth a look at least so clutch stripped, cleaned and rebuilt, refilled with correct oil and job done. Couple of hours well spent, ready for tomorrow. Going to keep the clutch lever tied IN when not in use and see if that helps.

I "unstick" old clutches by starting the engine, duck paddle & stuff it in gear, ride around a safe place shifting up to 3rd, 4th all the while holding the clutch in. They all come free. No trauma.
Just did a Kawi that sat 22 years and was stuck like hell.
